Seth joined Marlon Blackwell Architects in the summer of 2024. He is an Arkansas native who received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas. While attending the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, Seth participated in the design-build program as part of a team who fabricated and assembled an interpretational viewing pavilion and gateway to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson House at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The pavilion has become a permanent structure on the grounds representing a hybrid of 20th century construction techniques and mass customization through digital fabrication.
After graduating from UofA in 2015, Seth worked at DEMX architecture, where he served as architect, project manager, and Studio Director over the course of 9 years. During this time, Seth led projects of varying scales and typologies through all phases of design. Projects included Tyson Manufacturing and Automation Center, Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric Headquarters, 1st Choice Healthcare, and numerous other commercial and residential projects which were honored with state and regional design awards from the AIA.
Over the years, Seth has developed a strong interest in the power of iterative design and hand sketching to discover unique formal solutions that are spatially compelling, contextually respectful, and environmentally responsible.
