Dougan graduated from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design in the spring of 2023. His experiences at the university, as well as studying abroad in Rome, fostered an admiration for cultural expression and environmental mindfulness in architecture. Having grown up in rural Arkansas, Dougan is inspired by the vernacular and its creative responsiveness to regional limitations. While working at Marlon Blackwell Architects, he aspires to assist the firm in creating impactful architecture.
